NEW FOR OUTSIDELANDS 2018

We’re only days away from the kickoff to Outside Lands 2018, and just like every year, there’s always something new to discover! Before you head to Golden Gate Park, make sure you don’t miss out on the latest and greatest changes at this year’s festival. From new experiences and shows to special VIP perks and larger stages, we put together this handy list of everything you need to know for Outside Lands 2018.

Clear Bag Policy – We take your safety seriously. Check the FAQ page for details about what you can and can’t bring. Please note media also have to adhere to this policy so please contact Grandstand directly if you have any questions.

Regional Shuttles – Catch a ride directly to Golden Gate Park from San Jose, Oakland, Sacramento, Mill Valley and other NorCal cities.

D.A.V.E. – Expand your mind with a new speaker series in The Barbary featuring discussions led by Bill Nye, Gavin Newsom, Mickey Hart and more.

Grass Lands – A 21+ Town Square focusing on the celebration, education, and integration of cannabis products into daily life.

Bubble Tea Party – A whimsical, technicolor tea party tucked away in the wooded wonderland of McLaren Pass.

GastroMagic– Nearly doubling in size, the GastroMagic Stage will be bigger and better than ever at its new location in Lindley Meadow. Stop by for shows with Eddie Huang, Matty Matheson, Bill Nye and Portugal. the Man.

Sutro VIP – VIPs at the Sutro Stage get a new viewing area and a fast-track staircase between the Polo Field and Lindley Meadow.

VIP Upgrade Your GA Pass – Have a GA but want the VIP experience? Visit the tent near our VIP entrance located at JFK Drive off 36th Avenue to upgrade your wristband for $220 per single day pass. Visit the passes page for more info on VIP offerings.

Order Ahead – Spend more time having fun and less time in line! Order your drinks in advance using the Outside Lands iPhone app.

West Coast Craft x Outside Lands Marketplace – It’s where high art meets fine crafts. Take home something unique from one of the 30+ local creators.

Mugs and Glasses by Steely’s – Refillable beer mugs and wine glasses will be available for $10 each at Wine Lands and Beer Lands.

Plastic Straw Free – Outside Lands is now free of plastic straws throughout festival grounds. Paper straws available by request.

Refillable Water Bottles From Yeti – Swing by the YETI station on Hellman Hollow or merch locations to pick up a custom YETI stainless steel water bottle perfect for filling. In an effort to help reduce the use of single use plastic bottles, YETI will be supplying cold, filtered water throughout the festival

Lockers located in VIP area of Lands End- a limited amount of lockers will be available in the VIP Hospitality area by Lands End. Once we sell out of those, VIP guests are still encouraged to purchase a GA locker, which will be available where it always is on the Upper Track of the Polo Field. Outside Lands is the world’s leading gourmet music festival.
