The Fourth of July in Modesto is so very special. It is one of those days where everyone is family and we all are celebrating the USA and our very own special blend of ModestoCana that we serve daily. Downtown will be the place to be on July 4th as the 142nd 4th of July Parade will meaner through downtown in front of 25,000 of your best friends. There are great places to watch the parade along the route that travels down 10th St, to J St, to 11th St to I Street. This is pure fun for the whole family thanks to the very hard work of the Modesto Kiwanis Club and Parade Chairman Jeremiah Williams.
It is extra special this year as I have been fortunate to have been the Parade Announcer for the last few years, taking over for the legendary Al Menshew. This year, I am honored to be the Grand Marshal for the 142nd Annual Parade. This is so amazing and I am so very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this Modesto tradition. This is an event that I and my family will never forget and we will treasure every moment. Please come to the parade and then join us in 10th St Plaza for the Modesto Kiwanis 4th of July Festival. This will be a fun day Modesto so I hope to see you there.
