A Time to Perform in September
By Kaye Osborn and The ViewCrew
School is back in the swing of things. College students are gearing up too! Fall is approaching, I hope you have your tickets for the most amazing community event- Picnic at the Pops The Music of Michael Jackson on September 10th at E & J Gallo Winery grounds. Tickets are still available at Gallo Center for the Arts and O’Brien’s Market. My husband, Jerry and I always attend with another couple. We have a wondrous time. I am always amazed at how many people I know there, plus I find a place in the back to dance. If you see me, come dance with me!
Here’s what’s happening in our neck of the woods
Center Stage Conservatory will be turning their Lower Level Studio into a 5th grade classroom as we go back to school in Gidion’s Knot written by Johnna Adams and directed by James Kusy.

There the discussion between the mother and the teacher (Carin Heidelbach) becomes dramatically charged, volatile exploration of personal responsibility, freedom of expression, the failure of our school system, bullying and blame.
