Classic Comic Con’s pre-convention activities kick off at the McHenry Event Center with an acting workshop taught by Golden Globe nominee Richard Hatch on Thursday, September 29th, at the Clarion Modesto. In this workshop open to the general public, attendees will have a chance to explore their passion for the art, craft and business of acting. Hatch teaches actors, writers, directors and filmmakers how to be more proactive in the business, enabling them to create their own unique pathway to success in today’s entertainment industry. Richard shares 40+ years of insight on how to get the most out of one’s talent and abilities, and how to make a powerful impression on agents, casting directors, producers and directors. This workshop is suitable for industry professionals and those who wish to learn about breaking through self-imposed barriers, how to communicate effectively and to learn confidence building strategies.
Convention attendees can mingle with celebrity guests the evening of Friday, September 30th at the event’s VIP mixer held at the McHenry Event Center beginning at 6pm.
