We lost one of Modesto’s champions in December. David Lopez, former Modesto City Council member passed away last month at the age of 53, an innocent victim of a car accident.
Dave believed in “ModestoCana” our own brand of hospitality. He was long time local businessman and an advocate for community service and had a smile for all. He is survived by wife Sheri, children Josh, Chelsea, Boyd, Amanda, and Desi, and granddaughter Claire. Dave’s passion for our community will be missed.
