Last Call for Rob Thomas
Going, going, gone! There are only around 100 tickets left for The Rob Thomas show at The Gallo Center. Many of us out there remember Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty along with his great hits like 3AM, Downfall and everyone’s all time favorite he did with Santana, “Smooth.” Since then, Rob has been writing new songs and touring all over the world. In fact it wasn’t too long ago that he released the LP Cradlesong with 17 original songs which has done very well all over the world. To quote Rob Thomas in regards to his last album Cradlesong, “I don’t want to make the same record over and over again. I not only want to represent lyrically where I’m at as a person today, but stylistically I want to represent the time that I’m in. I’m 37, which is different than 30, and which is different than 25. It’s a much a much different time in my life and I want the new record to reflect that. Cradlesong doesn’t sound like anything I’ve done before, and I think that’s important.”
Shortly after Cradlesong, Rob Thomas released an EP called Someday. You can find it as well as Cradlesong on ITunes or any other popular e-music store online. Or you can enjoy the experience of him singing these songs to you personally on April 8th at The Gallo Center for The Arts in Modesto.
