Alzheimers Walk
By Chris Murphy
Like many of you, our family has been affected by the one of the most cruel diseases, Alzheimer’s. Ravaging the minds of millions, Alzheimer’s has no cure, can’t be prevented and 2/3 of Americans with Alzheimer’s are women. 1 in 3 seniors die from this or another dementia. We need more research, we need more support and we need to understand what it does to families and those that suffer. Join us for the Walk for Alzheimer’s on Sept 10. Many of you have a good reason to walk and the support of others may be a big help. The fund raised for research are so important.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. There is still time to create a team and raise money for this important research.
