Message from John Lucas: Video from Modesto Peace/Life Center’s 4 th Annual Social Justice Youth Leadership Conference At the Social Justice Youth Conference this year, beside our keynote speaker, Peace Center board member and high school history teacher Mike Chiavetta and son-in-law Ben Mora, did a presentation on the “Economic Cost of War”. Sandy Sample told the students about her life long peace and social justice activism. Over 80 students from local Modesto area high schools attended the conference this year!!
