We welcome Modesto’s Coach to the ViewCrew. “Coach” Colin McBride is one of Modesto greatest sports cheerleaders. He was a former Downey football player, competed in track & field at MJC and has worked in Special Education at Modesto City Schools for the last 10 years. He coaches multiple teams at multiple schools and is dedicated to support our local Modesto businesses and activities. He is a true Modesto champion. Welcome Coach.

Fall sports are here in the local valley. Our Modesto city teams are under way in league from the CCAL & WAC from water polo, cross country, girls flag football, volleyball and football.

The Modesto Quarterback Club was established in 1930, actively promoting and supporting Modesto football programs, coaches and players. The Quarterback Club is held every Monday during the football season at Denny’s 1525 McHenry Ave ( by DMC) at 12:00pm. Lunch is $15 it’s a free for one coach from each school. Each week they feature a different school and honor the head coach and a few key players.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month as well, a few of our local school will be volleyball programs will be having a Pink Out themes this season. Modesto High volleyball program will be having theirs on October 8th against Enochs high school, Enochs will hosting theirs on October 1st against Pitman high school. Be sure to wear your pink and come support your local volleyball programs.

Volleyball: The CCAL teams started league play back on September 19th and will finish their season on October 22nd. The WAC begun play back in September. Both are scheduled for the playoffs on October 28th.

Football: October is also the first week of league play for our football programs, Modesto High will be playing Enochs, Downey against Pitman and Gregori against Turlock. Playoffs are scheduled for CCAL & WAC November 8th.

XC: The CCAL Championships will be held October 8th at Legion Park * WAC Championships will be on October 23rd at River Bluff Regional Park.

Water Polo: CCAL teams start league play on October 1st – October 24th. The CCAL tie braker will be on October 28th . Location TBA. The WAC tie braker is scheduled for October 30th. Location TBA.

Girls flag football: CCAL & WAC begun league play started back on August 9th and will finish on October 21st. CCAL Playoffs are scheduled for November 4th and WAC playoffs scheduled for October 29th.
