He will meet with students at 4:00 p.m. at the King-Kennedy Memorial Center, 601 S. Martin Luther King, Dr., Modesto. At 5:00 p.m. there will be an open reception there. See p.1.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Legacy Award will be presented to Frank Ploof by Leng Power for his years of community service to the homeless. Read his story on p. 3.

These events are FREE so the public can attend but our costs are considerable. We depend solely on donations of money or services from our co-sponsors and individuals. Would help us bring Dr. Harry Edwards to our community? Co-sponsoring organizations appear on our event poster (up to press time), placed in businesses, in our printed program for that evening; and in the PowerPoint presentation shown for an hour preceding the program and, of course, in Connections articles about the events.
