StreetView – Take a Walk

StreetView
By Chris Murphy
This time of year is gorgeous! Fall as we go into winter is one if the best times to take a walk. The homes are decorated and it is fun to go explore neighborhoods you don’t normally visit. Ride your bike or walk through the big treelined streets in the College Area or around Graceada Park. Modesto has planted so many trees that are now mature and canopy the entire streets. As the leaves turn and fall, they open up the night skies.

As we enjoy this holiday season, one of the most surefire ways to stay fit is to walk. Worried about those big holiday dinners or did you go crazy at Thanksgiving? Get out and take a walk. Not only will you stay fit and feel good through the holiday season, you might find a new neat neighborhood, meet new friends and have a whole new view of Modesto.

There are also state-wide Fall Colors resources to check out if you are up to a road trip.  These next few weeks are the peak color and you might have ten more days of brilliant activity.  www.facebook.com/California-Fall-Color-276578615623
