Thursday Night Ramble – Every Thursday Night at Deva Café – 7 30- 10 30 pm If you find yourself looking for something to do on a Thursday night, this should be at the top of your list. Whether you are taking your significant other out for a nice meal or coffee, or looking to start your weekend early with a couple of beers, this is the place for you! You can expect to see great musicians that specialize in Americana, Blues and stripped down Rock n’ Roll to appear on their stage weekly. This show series is known for rare mixed performances from an assortment of local artists ,or stripped down appearances from musicians that usually play loud and fast with their full band. The man behind the booking is Earl Matthews from local blues band “Big Earl and the Cryin’ Shame” if you are a musician and this sounds like something that you would like to be a part of, email him at
bigearl@gmail.com. If this has not convinced you to go check out the Thursday Night Ramble, then let me tell you a little about the other side of this great show series- Threelle Productions. You can find these guys at Deva Café every Thursday with their live podcast, yes you read right, that means that if you are home sick and cannot possibly make it out, don’t worry you can watch it from home in your pj’s, on your computer. You can even chat with other people!! The Thursday Night Ramble is just a part of what these guys do. Their interactive website features artists from all over. You can also check out their Back Stage Podcast and hear them talk to/ about musicians and music in general. It is very conversational based, including live tracks. They are working on a radio station that would feature acts from your back yard and beyond. (Musicians just like YOU). This is just a small summary of everything they offer so check out their site, you won’t be disappointed – www.threelle.com ! I hope you enjoy the music and give Threelle and The Thursday Night Ramble a try. One of the things I like most about those guys is their willingness to work with as many people/ musicians as they can. People like Threelle Productions, The Local Music Scene, Chris Murphy with The Modesto View, and all of the promoters, venues and last but certainly not least the musicians, make this music scene go round. I am just so grateful to be a part of it. Remember come see me every Friday night at Copper Rhino for The Weekly Issue. Live music every Friday night. Ask the guys at The Thursday Night Ramble how you can get a discount for The Weekly Issue! See you soon and as Threelle Productions say “live life local” Jill Ferris Jillferrisb93@gmail.com The Weekly Issue Fridays @ The Copper Rhino 🙂
