In June, my husband and I attended Center Stage Conservatory’s show The Complete Works of Williams Shakespeare(abridged and revised) at the newly renovated St. Claire Theater on 7th Street, Directed by Megan Lynch, Colton Dennis, Spencer James and Traci Sprague were very entertaining and enthusiastically interacted with the audience. I got to be Ophelia and scream! It was wonderful. Michael Ingram and his uncle Ray Crane worked hard to bring Modesto a new venue. St Claire offers a plethora of arts: Blues, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Soul, Poetry, Comedy, Reggae and theatrical performances plus food and spirits. Check it out!
Megan Lynch and Traci Sprague have arranged with St. Clair to present their 2011-2012 theatrical season. In November they will present the late Lanford Wilson electrifying play Burn This, in February see the magic and seduction of Jose Rivera’s References to Salvador Dali Makes Me hot, in May Harold Pinter’s Betrayal. Traci and Megan intensive theatre training for youths ages 10-20 through their Center State Youth Summer Conservatory. They aim to inspire a life long involvement in the arts. They are in needs of donations and sponsors. It is always great to welcome and support a new theater group in our community. They are looking to meet new people to work with.
