The past several years, the PRC has held an annual holiday event for children and families who receive services the family resource center. The majority of the agency’s clients live in Modesto’s west and south areas as well as the Airport Neighborhood. There were crafts, snacks, food bags, toys, and, of course, photos with Santa. The local Asphalt Kinsman Motorcycle Club, volunteers and staff created a fun setting with whimsical decorations, some even suspended from the ceiling. Sadly, due to health and safety precautions, the traditional event is not possible. Instead, a drive-through activity will be offered for clients.

Nicole Bravo works at Piercing Instincts and remembers the past PRC events. Her father, Jeff Bravo from the Asphalt Kinsmen Motor Cycle Club, and the other club members supported the PRC with toys and gifts and volunteered at the event. Additionally, Sandra Williams from the PRC board of directors annually supported the agency with a large number of toys and gifts as well. With their combined efforts, all the PRC clients received toys and gifts for their children. Nicole has stepped in for her father this year to continue the collection of toys and gifts.
