Turlock Concert Association 80th Year

 

TURLOCK, Ca. – (March 4, 2020) – Jamie Dubberly’s Orquesta Dharma is an award-winning Latin jazz orchestra comprised of some of the best jazz and Latin musicians in the Bay Area, and beyond. Included in the lineup is Cuban-born master percussionist and Grammy winner Carlos Caro, drummer and bandleader, and regular contributor to Downbeat magazine, Brian Andres, Grammy Award winning Peruvian bassist David Pinto, and assistant director of the Brubeck Institute, pianist Randy Sandoli. Leading the group is Grammy winning trombonist Jamie Dubberly. His quintet version of Dharma brings an intimate, but powerful, and invigorating concept of Afro-Cuban jazz and salsa.  They will be performing at the Turlock Community Auditorium, 1574 East Canal Dr, Turlock, on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Season subscription is $65 for one adult, $75 for a one-parent family, $140 for a two-parent family, or $40 for a student alone, and includes reciprocal tickets at several affiliated associations in the region.  Single tickets for non-subscribers for this event are $25, $15 for students.
