Sweet Summer Music
An incredible summer is just ahead, full of great live performances and exciting community events! One particularly engaging concert coming soon will be on Friday, June 17: Lisette & the Loudmouths and ‘Valley’s Got Talent’ winner Carolina Stevens will be performing on ‘MUSIC AT THE GMC’, an intimate acoustic series from Modesto Unplugged and ModestoView.

This delightful pairing will be sure to appeal to audiences of broad musical tastes, as the performers are widely talented and draw from many musical styles themselves. Lisette & the Loudmouths have a unique, smoky and sultry sound that freely blends jazz, blues, pop, and indie rock. Carolina Stevens is a versatile performer with Southern Oregon University, the Merced Playhouse, the Albanian National Opera Theatre, Center Stage Conservatory and more. Her repertoire features classic and modern show tunes, opera numbers, pop songs and more.

This eclectic and fun show will happen at the Gottschalk Music Center recital hall, 1502 E St., Modesto, so join us on June 17 for a memorable evening! Doors open at 7:00pm, concert starts at 7:30pm. Admission is $15 general, with kids 12 & under free. To reserve seats, call 209-543-5306 or email modestounplugged@yahoo.com<mailto:modestounplugged@yahoo.com>.

Also, the GMC concert is one of two shows in June featuring Lisette & the Loudmouths, newcomers on the Modesto music scene. We will also be performing live for Sunday Brunch at Deva Café, 1202 J St., Modesto, on June 5th, from 10:00-Noon. The performance is completely free and Deva Café has absolutely awesome food and drinks. It will be a wonderful way to start your Sunday! Curious but not sure if you want to go? Check out our new EP, ‘Old, New, Borrowed, Blue’, available on iTunes or at LisetteandtheLoudmouths.com.

This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the great things happening for Modesto locals in June. Townsend Opera will be taking a road trip on June 26th to go see ‘Carmen’ at the San Francisco Opera. The trip includes a private dinner with the fabulous Ms. Irene Roberts, the star of the show, following the performance!
