Victorian Christmas

Travel back in time, for a delightful taste of a Victorian Christmas Tea at the Dragonfly Tea Room in Roseburg Square. The featured items this month include; creamy potato bacon soup, sausage roll with turkey, stuffing and cranberry, sticky toffee pudding cake, orange currant scone and Christmas berry trifle. These are just a few of the wonderful and seasonal delights you have to try this season.
Adorned with sheer curtains, it is in many ways like entering your grandmother’s pantry. That may sound funny to some, but let’s face it, Grandma’s the name, spoiling’s the game. The walls are covered with tea pots, teacups, some small displays AND, Judy’s Teas. That’s right, in her pursuit to make this amazing she became certified in tea. So, the delicious tea you drink, you can buy and take home and its house made!!
We would suggest that this would be a perfect afternoon with friends, kids, parents and grandparents. The comfy, homey space is great for delicious food and conversation. Certainly a great spot for moms and daughters as well as dads and sons.
This is sure to be a very busy time of year. Walk ins are welcome for space available, reservations are highly recommended for December.
