Virginia Corridor Trail Closed On Tuesday, October 9 The Virginia Corridor Trail and Briggsmore Overcrossing between Granger and Bowen Avenues will be closed on Tuesday, October 9 due to maintenance on the trail. Teichert Construction will be applying a hydroseed slurry mixture of native grasses and flowers to the open planter areas of the trail as a final part of their construction project. Crews will be onsite during the application of the slurry mixture, but access to the trail and alley will be restricted throughout the day and trail users are encouraged to take a break from their usual routine for the day. It is anticipated that the trail and overcrossing will be reopened Wednesday morning for use by bicyclists and pedestrians and that the grasses and flowers should begin to appear late winter or early spring.
