There is a civic element that really sets Modesto apart: volunteerism. Many wonderful things happen in our community thanks to a great volunteer spirit and the number of people who lend a hand. But it is hard to find the right kind of match to your interests. Love Modesto really cracked the code with their annual Love Modesto project day connecting people with projects. Now, Love Stanislaus has launched a new Volunteer Central program. This connects a volunteer project that matches your abilities and your preferences. This has been a long time coming as it pulls many different programs and organizations into a simple new ap. This is something you can do all year long. You will help a lot of people and help yourself at the same time.
