Find out who wins the MAMA on October 16, live at the fabulous historic State Theatre. The amazing award show will feature exclusive live performances of the nominees and results of the MAMA Awards will be announced and broadcast live on ModestoView beginning at 6:30 pm.
In between all of these awards, there will be a special celebration of Steve Ashman, founder of ZaSu Pitts Memorial Orchestra who will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for is amazing work as a professional musician and his work here in Modesto as the executive director of CASA. The MAMAs will feature a special performance by ZaSu Pitts Memorial Orchestra. There will also be a special tribute to the Modesto area musicians we have lost this year, Grace Lieberman, Rudy Merino, Abraham Guerrero, Braden Hamilton, Art Mataka, and Sean Backs.
