Watch for Runners Today!
On Sunday March 29th, The Surgical Artistry Modesto Marathon takes place in downtown Modesto. Thousands of runners will be out on the streets from Modesto to the outskirts of our beautiful city. Please be mindful of them and the volunteers. Our Modesto Police Department will also be out on the streets in a friendly marathon full force to keep everyone safe. If you plan on making your way around our city in your vehicle on Sunday; please obey all traffic laws, street closures and barricades. Doing so will not only help you avoid an expensive citation that day, but also keep our runners and their families safe. Come join the fun and be part of Modesto’s biggest family friendly sporting event, there’s a fun fitness and entertainment festival near the finish line.
