Happy Sweet 16 X fest!
Talk about time flying by. Just seems like yesterday that Matt Nathanson, Flying Blind, Blessid Union of Souls were playing in 2000 on J Street for the very first Xclamation Fest. Now, X fest covers over 15 city blocks, 12 stages and over 80 performers, the World’s Largest Outdoor Disco and 15,000 of your best friends.
This year you can check out the amazing sounds of Waka Flocka Flame, Tech N9Ne, Tribal Seeds, the fantastic Dancetronauts, and the amazing over the top Tubes. Yes Modesto, Quay Lewd will be performing on one of the big stages that are loaded with a line up from 6 pm until 1:30 am. Also performing are: Andre Nickatina, Baeza, Chingo Bling, Moonshine Bandits, Los Rakas, Sadistik, Fortunate Youth & Nick G.
There are bands, DJs, food and drink everywhere you look. There will even be Bushido wrestling fun and you can’t 20 feet without running into some you know and you will meet new friends all evening long.
Each stage will be rolling out their full line ups over the next few weeks. One of our favorite stages every year is the Rockabilly Stage. Located right there on J St, this is a favorite each year with barn burning, paint peeling rockabilly. You won’t want to miss that. Headliners are on each of the main stages and the action starts as soon as the doors open at 5 pm.
One of the best ModestoView tips is to get situated at one of the many bars or restaurants located inside of X fest and you will have a great place to hang out. Much of X Fest is cash only, but if you are eating and drinking at one of our local places, you can use your credit card and keep your cash for the fun stuff.
You can get presale tickets for $20. Day of the show it will be $30.
We recommend getting Express Entrance Tickets, these are limited and are $30 in advance. Totally worth it.
