Chinese New Year
On February 8th is the beginning of the Chinese New Year. 2016 is the Year of the Monkey! The monkey is an important character in Chinese culture. The famous book “The Monkey King” is proof of that. That monkey is just unstoppable in the pursuit of his goals. With his incredible agility and resourcefulness he outperforms his foes and anyone getting in his way. As we know the monkey is an exciting and amusing animal. So this being the year of the monkey should be a fun packed and amazing year, a year where even impossible ventures will end up successful. Maybe, like the monkey we will be more daring, to improvise and even invent a whole new way of doing things. We will learn and advance and things should progress at a great clip. The Chinese celebrate their new year for 7 days, it is the time when families and loved ones come together. Eating fish on New Year’s Eve is a must. Happy New Year of the Monkey!
